A ferry is needed

A ferry is needed to cross my river of blue
And I cough if smoke within its flue
Along with the small waves in its ride
And by the bubbles and the foams in its tide

Other side is such a lonely silent place
One river in its path and a lovely space
O my boat man I wish if you are here
On this winter night I wish if I was there

Cold water melting within my feet and I freeze
Calling wind covering my eyes with its breeze
Calm and quiet and the ferry is no more
Claim my prize if you hear my poetic roar

Deep dark woods in a faraway lost land
Dragging dream hides in my frozen sand
Drop me off  I have my flying fare
Dream I wish if I could go there
